Circles

Do you ever feel like you're just running around in circles? That you don't have enough time to even do some of the simple daily things that you enjoy or could include to feel more settled, starting the day, and able to enjoy the fullness and richness of life?
You're not alone
I need help,
I need something to change.
I need to change.
I'm looking at this blog that means I'm seeking. Either that or I misspelled my Google search... Ultimately, If I'm seeking, that means I admit I'm imperfect. I need to improve. Hard words to accept for to some, but isn't that what we're taught from birth in Western society? Doctors, psychiatrist, psychologists, even politicians wouldn't have a job if we didn't believe the general lack of perfection in The human conditions, but if you ask a Lama you'll hear the opposite. Everything and everyone is perfect exactly the way they are. Which one is correct? Does there have to be one?
One thing's for sure and two things for certain, The ego is like a fragile friend that needs to find a job ... And you may feel like it's hard to tell the difference between that free-floating matrix of danger scanning, Id protection, and baggage, from the self we call Higher, the manifestation of energy, creativity and passion that we wish we could project every moment, everyday... but when I say it out loud the question seems to vanish like the shadow of a tree when the sun peeks out, and then we have a reality we're both coexist because that's the way things are, and we have a choice to practice letting one be more prominent or the other.
So if you're seeking, you must be seeking something. What are you seeking? An answer? A question? What is my purpose?
What if our purpose is to live? Not to get something, or build cities, or leave a particular legacy... but just to do my best, to live and expand. Help and be helped along the way... always evolving and growing, learning lessons and looking, with joy, Helping And being helped. Being life. Helping others to live(if they welcome that or ask).
Our history and environment produce an idea that if I believe in a monarchical God that created the univerese and put all that energy into it, then there must be some reason or purpose that fits with my paradigm. Our particular manifestation as conscious beings with creativity and soul must have taken so much energy to arise and so much effort.
Who told me about this paradigm?
Maybe, if I allow myself to harmonize without a paradigm, and let my world view evolve in harmony with the surrounding positive energies, I won't be paddling so exhaustingly upstream.
Maybe it wasn't that much effort at all. Or maybe its not limited to either/or and consciously created or accidentally happened. But that the universe is the way it is because it is that way, and my job is to be.
You have defenses
You don't need improvement, but we do need connection. Isolated we wither, like a flower in the desert.
Maybe you just need to do your best and enjoy the energy of the other souls just doing their best as well.
If you practice in meditation to be open and neutral, great things can happen, if you like peace and joy...
And if it ever seems like you're just running around in circles don't worry, relax, that is EXACTLY what the universe is doing, so you are in good company!
